For years the standard advice was to find keywords with volume and write pages about them. It stopped working. What replaced it is harder to explain and much harder to execute: search engines reward a site that demonstrably covers a subject — its sub-topics, its edge cases, the questions a real buyer asks halfway through — and that connects those pages to each other in a way that makes the relationship obvious.
That is a production problem, not a research problem. Knowing you should publish sixty connected articles is the easy part. Actually producing them to a consistent standard, in the right order, with the right internal links, and then keeping that structure healthy as the site grows — that is where every content plan we have ever seen falls over.
The authority engine is our answer to that, and it is the part of the platform we are proudest of. We saw a significant traffic increase using it on our own properties before we sold a single seat.
