This page lists the cookies and similar technologies used on agencyinsightlab.com and in the agencyinsightlab.com application, and what each is for.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. Some are essential to make a site work at all — remembering that you are signed in, for instance. Others record how a site is used so it can be improved.

2. Strictly necessary

These cannot be switched off, because without them the Service does not function.

• Session and authentication — keeps you signed in as you move between pages of the application.
• Security — cross-site request forgery tokens that protect forms from being submitted by a third party on your behalf.
• Workspace preference — remembers which workspace you were last working in.

3. Functional

These remember choices you have made so you do not have to make them again — dashboard layout, date range, table sort order, and whether you dismissed a notice. Losing them is an inconvenience, not a failure.

4. Analytics

We use analytics to understand which parts of the site and the product are used, so we know where to spend effort. This is aggregate: we look at how many people did something, not at what any one person did. Where the law requires consent for analytics cookies, we ask for it before setting them.

5. What we do not use

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, we do not run third-party ad networks on this site, and we do not sell any data collected through cookies.

6. Managing cookies

Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set and delete them, and lets you block cookies entirely. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you being able to sign in to the application. The help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all explain how.
